This policy explains what personal data ISTRALLEN ("we") collects through istrallen.com, why, and what you can do about it. Questions or requests: info@istrallen.com.
What we collect
- Contact form. Your name, work email, company (optional), the topic you pick, your message, and your consent to processing. We then send a confirmation link to your email address.
- Job applications. Your name, email, a link to your resume, an optional cover letter, and your consent. We also send a confirmation link to your email address.
- Analytics. If analytics cookies are allowed, Google Analytics 4 records pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser type, and how you arrived at the site. It does not give us your name or email.
- Server logs. Our web server records technical request data (IP address, requested URL, time, browser user agent) to keep the site running and secure.
Why we use it
- To reply to your enquiry or job application, which you asked us to do.
- To understand which pages are useful and improve the site, based on your consent where the law requires it.
- To protect the site from abuse and spam.
We do not sell personal data and we do not use it for advertising.
Cookies and local storage
Google Analytics sets cookies only after you accept them in the banner if you visit from the EU, EEA, UK or Switzerland. Elsewhere they are on by default and you can turn them off in the same banner. The site also stores your theme, language and cookie choice in your browser's local storage. That data stays on your device.
To change your cookie choice, clear this site's data in your browser and reload the page: the banner will appear again.
Who else processes the data
- Google (Google Analytics), under Google's own privacy terms.
- The hosting provider of our server, which stores the site and its database.
We do not pass form submissions to marketing or advertising tools.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiries and applications for as long as we need them to respond and to keep a record of our correspondence, then delete them. You can ask us to delete your data at any time.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you can ask to access, correct, delete or export your personal data, object to or restrict its use, and withdraw consent at any time. Write to info@istrallen.com. If you are in the EU, EEA or UK, you can also complain to your local data protection authority.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update it on this page and change the date at the top.
